    Also true I don't think there are any texts that say shiva is the supreme reality. But! Some Shiavite followers will direct you to the Linga Purana. In parts of The linga purana it talks abot the worship of the Linga (Shivling) and the importance of this.

    Did you take the photo? It is quite interesting, i have never seen it like that before. Usualy lord Jagannatha is attended by balrama. Maybe its me just being ignorant, but i have never seen one like that with Ganesha.
